Moso bamboo (Phyllostachys edulis) is an economically important species, widely naturalized in subtropical areas. Further developing of this species for sustainable bamboo resource has been hindered due to a lack of its population genome information. Here, we performed the whole-genome resequencing of 427 individuals covering all fifteen major moso bamboo production areas in China.
