Identification of Targetable Pathway Dependencies in Diffuse Midline Glioma

Diffuse Midline Glioma (DMG), is a highly aggressive and infiltrative paediatric brain tumour with currently no known cure. Characterisation of DMG has since revealed a diverse molecular landscape with a signature histone H3 mutation (p.K27M). In this study we use a functional genomics approach to identify targetable molecular dependencies to develop into a novel therapeutic and clinically efficacious regimen. The findings of this thesis highlight the importance of using molecularly derived tumour information to develop better treatment outcomes for DMG patients.
