Ionic liquid-assisted growth of high-quality methylammonium lead bromide single crystals for photodetection applications

This data set describes the effect of adding a 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide (BMIB) ionic liquid to the MAPbBr3 precursor solution on the crystallization process and quality of the resulting single crystal. Data set contains structural and optical characteristics. A single crystal was used for the fabrication of planar type photodetector and the subsequent data set contains electrical properties, current−time, photocurrent density, responsivity, specific detectivity and external quantum efficiency as a function of irradiation intensity.
