Diversity of Pathogens Enterococcus faecalis and Enterococcus faecium

This Project will assess the scope of the diversity of emerging hospital pathogens, Enterococcus faecalis and Enterococcus faecium. We will obtain high quality draft sequence for approx. 400 strains derived from closely-related sets of strains, that include isolates from various points in the evolution of virulent, multidrug resistant lineages.
