原真地理特征区划旨在揭示具有不同原真性特征的地理要素与过程其分布组合呈现怎样的空间格局。全国原真地理特征区划结果包含了两个层次，第一级区划共划分出19个原真地理特征大区，第二级区划共划分出78个原真地理特征区。
The Regionalization of Authentic Geographic Features aims to reveal the spatial patterns of the distribution and combination of geographic elements and processes with distinct authentic characteristics. The outcomes of the national regionalization of authentic geographic features comprise two hierarchical tiers: the first tier delineates 19 major authentic geographic feature regions, and the second tier subdivides these into 78 authentic geographic feature sub-regions.
