This is a set of read dialogues. They were designed for phonetic research into the influence of speaker attitude on the realization of two sentence-final particles in Hanoi Vietnamese. Further details are provided in a PDF document associated to this deposit. The documents from M6 and M7 are not complete dialogues: speakers M6 and M7 are colleagues at the MICA institute. They managed the task themselves: the interviewer served as dialogue partner when requested; otherwise the speakers only read the target sentences, in the manner they deemed most appropriate to convey the intended attitude. Each file is annotated with the SoundForge software.
