The dataset comprises data collected from 616 predominantly first-year students at Oral Roberts University, aged 18 years or older, who were enrolled in health and fitness classes during the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semesters. After excluding 7 participants over the age of 26 to maintain focus on a traditional college-aged population, the final sample includes 609 participants aged between 18 and 26 years, with a median age of 19. The dataset contains variables such as handgrip strength (HGS), resting heart rate (RHR), height, weight, and sex.
