HOXA2 gene is transcribed

The HOXA2 is transcribed to yield mRNA (in carcinoma cells, Yates et al. 2010). In mouse embryos Hoxa2 mRNA is observed in rhombomere 2 and caudally through posterior hindbrain, spinal cord, larynx, lungs, vertebrae, sternum, and intestine. Hoxa2 mRNA is a target of microRNA miR-3960 in differentiating mouse osteoblasts.HOXA2基因被转录产生mRNA（在癌细胞中，参见Yates等人2010年的研究）。在鼠胚胎中，Hoxa2 mRNA在菱形体2以及其后脑、脊髓、喉、肺、脊椎、胸骨和肠道中均有发现。在分化中的鼠骨细胞中，Hoxa2 mRNA是microRNA miR-3960的作用靶点。
