Appalachian Highlands Network Mammal Inventory 2003-2004- Data Package
收藏资源简介:
The Appalachian Highlands Network (APHN) consists of four National Park Units. From 2003-2004, three of these units were inventoried for mammal species. These units include the Blue Ridge Parkway (BLRI), the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area (BISO), and the Obed Wild and Scenic River (OBRI). While there are separate reports for each park unit, the methods are consistent across the park units and the data were kept housed in one database. These methods include a variety of small and medium mammal traps, echolocation detection, mist nets, pitfall traps, and road surveys. This work was completed as a part of the National Park Service’s goal to document the occurrence of at least 90% of species that occur in each park unit containing “significant natural resources”.
