This study aimed to discover novel antibiotics produced by Burkholderia and Paraburkholderia bacteria as interesting sources of specialized metabolites. A novel collection of environmental Burkholderia and Paraburkholderia from the Bornean jungle, Sabah, Malaysia was assembled for the analysis.
