Colias behrii Genomic Resources

The Sierra Sulphur (Colias behrii) is butterfly in the family Pieridae and is endemic to the Sierra Nevada mountain range. The species is generally restricted to wet, high-altitude meadows that contain its larval host plants: blueberries (Vaccinium spp.), gentian (Gentiana newberryi), and a number of plants of the heath family (Ericaceae). These data have been produced as part of the CCGP. Sequencing was conducted with HiFi Pacific Biosciences long reads at UCDavis Genome Core, Dovetail's OmniC libraries, and Illumina sequencing at UCBerkeley QB3 Genomics Core.
