TOGA COARE soundings from Santa Cruz. Version 1.0

This dataset consists of sounding data from Santa Cruz Island in the Solomon Islands (WMO 91541) which was operated by the Australian Bureau of Meteorology for the Solomon Islands Meteorological Service. Soundings were taken twice per day (00 and 12 UTC) during the IOP. UCAR/JOSS conducted no quality control on these data. This dataset includes pressure, temperature, dew point, relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction, and altitude taken at 10 second vertical intervals. Refer to the station README file for details. NOTE: This dataset has been updated (5/2/2002) with corrected data for the humidity measurement errors of the Vaisala RS 80 radiosonde (Wang et al 2002). Please see the README for details.
