This dataset is developed by collecting and analyzing data related to customers' demand for polyester fabric dyeing processing in the Hubei region, to understand customers' purchasing power levels and consumption preferences regarding such demand, and adjust production and marketing strategies by taking all printing and dyeing enterprises in the industry as target customer types. For example, communicate with high-tier customers 1 to 2 times per month, medium-tier customers 1 to 2 times per quarter, and low-tier customers 1 to 2 times every six months, so as to better provide users with personalized products and services.
1. Data Collection: Collect routine transaction data related to customers' demand for polyester fabric dyeing processing.
2. Data Processing: Classify, merge and accumulate the collected data to facilitate subsequent analytical usage.
3. Algorithm Processing: Conduct demand analysis on the processed data with the following formula: $P = {a_1 ( ext{minimum single-order quantity})/b_1 ( ext{minimum single-order consumption amount}) + a_2 ( ext{maximum single-order quantity})/b_2 ( ext{maximum single-order consumption amount}) + a_3 ( ext{average order quantity})/b_3 ( ext{average consumption amount})} * k$, where $k$ is the consumption coefficient that varies across regions. According to empirical experience, the $k$ value for Hubei Province is set to 0.8.
4. Data Classification and Grading: Divide customers into "high-tier", "medium-tier" and "low-tier" categories based on the calculated demand level: mark customers with a score above 15000 as "high-tier", those with scores ranging from 12000 to 15000 as "medium-tier", and those below 12000 as "low-tier". This helps the company better understand its customers: carry out business communications with high-tier enterprises 1 to 2 times per month, medium-tier enterprises 1 to 2 times per quarter, and low-tier enterprises 1 to 2 times every six months, so as to formulate more precise production and marketing strategies.
