ePRO-Guided Symptom Management in Breast Cancer Adjuvant Radiotherapy: A Prospective Controlled Study
收藏资源简介:
This prospective study evaluates the efficacy of an electronic patient-reported outcome (ePRO)–guided symptom management pathway for 105 breast cancer patients undergoing postoperative adjuvant radiotherapy. Compared to routine care, the ePRO-guided model—integrating weekly monitoring, automated alerts, and nurse-led triage—significantly reduced peak symptom severity, particularly regarding skin reactions and breast pain. Furthermore, longitudinal analysis revealed significantly accelerated symptom recovery and more favorable quality-of-life trajectories in the intervention group (all P < 0.05). These findings suggest that integrating ePRO-triggered, closed-loop management into routine radiotherapy can mitigate acute symptom burden and enhances patient-centered care.
