Wheat rhizosphere and root associated microbiomes from major wheat producing ecological zones of Pakistan. Soil Metagenome

We investigated the rhizosphere and root associated microbiomes of wheat growing in major wheat producing ecological zones of Pakistan employing meta-barcoding of fungal and bacterial communities.We found core and region specific microbial communities, which could serve in the isolation and production of bio-fertilizers to improve wheat production.
