Pricebot Research Dataset: Behavioral Event Logs, Reference Product Data, and Validation Artifacts for E-Commerce Pricing Research

This repository contains the data and validation artifacts produced during the Pricebot research project — a research-oriented ecosystem for collecting e-commerce data, generating behavioral datasets, and training machine-learning models for purchase-related prediction and pricing analysis. The dataset includes: Raw behavioral event logs generated by an automated testing harness across seven distinct e-commerce user-journey scenarios. Pre-aggregated session-level summaries derived from those logs. A reference product dataset (~2 million records) collected from e-commerce sources. Automated price-comparison test results used for system validation. Supporting SQL and JavaScript transformation scripts required to reproduce the validation pipeline. Verification reports comparing pipeline output against two independent data sources (Main database and DataMart). Pricebot was delivered in the framework of the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) Fast Track competition (Szybka Ścieżka) during 2020–2023, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Smart Growth programme.
