苗族纹样是苗族文化的重要载体，类型丰富，涵盖动物、植物、几何等多种。动物纹样中，蝴蝶纹与 “蝴蝶妈妈” 传说相关，象征生命创造；龙纹、鸟纹则寄托着对吉祥、自由的向往。植物纹样里，枫叶纹、花卉纹体现对自然的热爱与美好寓意。几何纹样如十字纹、菱形纹、漩涡纹，蕴含着对天地、生命的认知。这些纹样造型夸张、色彩鲜艳，每一款都承载着独特的文化内涵和苗族人民的情感寄托。Miao patterns serve as important carriers of Miao culture, boasting rich and varied categories that encompass animals, plants, geometry and other types. Among animal patterns, the butterfly pattern is associated with the legend of "Mother Butterfly", symbolizing the creation of life; dragon patterns and bird patterns embody the longing for auspiciousness and freedom. In plant patterns, maple leaf patterns and floral patterns reflect the love for nature and carry beautiful symbolic meanings. Geometric patterns such as cross patterns, diamond patterns and swirl patterns contain the understanding of heaven, earth and life.
