Neighborhood-Level Electoral and Demographic Dataset for Aydın, Turkey (2023)

This dataset contains neighborhood-level electoral and demographic data from the province of Aydın, Turkey, covering the first and second rounds of the 2023 presidential election, as well as the 28th parliamentary election. The dataset includes vote shares for major parties and candidates, age structure, educational attainment, marital status, native residency ratio, and socioeconomic status indicators across 671 neighborhoods. Dataset used in support of a manuscript on spatial polarization and electoral geography, currently under review in a peer-reviewed journal. Data were preprocessed and clustered using hierarchical methods (cosine distance, average linkage) and tested with Welch’s ANOVA, Games-Howell, and nonparametric procedures.
