Salivary microbiome and herpesvirus in children's saliva samples

This study consists of longitudinal saliva samples from children aged 2 months to 2 years for which the V4 region of the 16S amplicon was sequenced in order to investigate associations with salivary herpesvirus detection. Children were participants in the Center for Oral Health Research in Appalachia 2 (COHRA2) study
