Another, very modern, copy of Lailâ and Majnûn, dated the 26th of Dhû-alḥijjah, A.H. 1222 (A.D. 1808, February 24), by Munshî Mihr Khaḍîb. The poem concludes on fol. 162^a, and is followed by some baits from the pen of the transcriber himself, as it seems. On ff. 163-166 baits of another mathnawî, not belonging to Lailâ and Majnûn, are written, beginning: گفتم كه چو پیریم کند پست فرزند جوان بگيردم دست No. 1504, ff. 166, 2 coll., each ll. 15; Nasta’lîḳ; size, 12¾ in. by 7½ in.
