Far East Dallas PID

The Far East Dallas Public Improvement District (FEDPID) was established in 2025. The FEDPID consists of approximately 188 mixed-use properties. The Ferguson Road Initiative manages the FEDPID. The general nature of the proposed services and improvements to be performed by the District includes, but is not limited to: public safety and enhanced security, beautification, recreation, common area improvements permissable under the Act, capital improvements, trail improvements, distinctive lighting and signage, business recruitment, and development to promote the area in and around the District, marketing and promotional activities, and related expenses incurred in establishing, administering, and operating the District as authorized by the Act. The current FEDPID term begins January 1, 2026 and runs until December 31, 2032, with the annual budget and assessment rate subject to a public hearing and Dallas City Council approval.
