This dataset was developed to meet the research requirements of coal preparation process optimization and intelligent control, and is generated based on the distributed control system (DCS) and clean coal ash content online detection system of Qinglongsi Coal Preparation Plant in Yulin, Shaanxi Province. It systematically records the key operating parameters of the entire dense-medium separation process, including automatically collected variables such as the instantaneous flow rate of the raw coal belt, the density of the qualified medium, and the instantaneous flow rate of the clean coal belt, as well as the core quality indicator of clean coal product ash content, which is detected via manual interval sampling combined with ash meter testing. The data sampling intervals are 60 seconds for automatic-collected variables and 10 minutes for ash content values, with a total data size of 2.04 MB. This dataset fully reflects the operating status and product quality of the dense-medium separation system during a specific production cycle, providing an authentic and reliable industrial data foundation for research on dynamic modeling of the separation process, soft sensing of product quality, and process parameter optimization.
