AlgaeBase

AlgaeBase is a global algal database of taxonomic, nomenclatural and distributional information. It contains information on algae that includes terrestrial, marine and freshwater organisms. For the convenience of marine botanists, we have included the sea-grasses (about 100 species), even though they are flowering plants.
