A State-Averaged Dataset of Maximum, Mean, and Minimum Temperatures and Trends across the United States
收藏资源简介:
This dataset accompanies a paper currently under review in Scientific Data; the paper will be linked here when published. It describes a study of temperature trends at the state level across the US. The raw data is described in the JSON files; the raw data was obtained by downloading gridded reanalysis data from the MERRA2 and ERA5 datasets, collecting the points from each dataset that fall in each state, and averaging them (per dataset). Daily temperatures (min, mean, and max) for each state were then monthly-averaged and regressed against yearly global mean temperature, to produce regressions describing the state-level responses to global warming in the form of linear trends (linear trend parameters are described in the .csv files in the dataset).
