资源简介:

This Figshare data repository contains all resulting data described in the PLOS ONE publication Grüter et al. (2022) "Expected global suitability of coffee, cashew and avocado due to climate change", where the methodological details (modelling approach) are explained. The raster datasets represent global maps with a resolution of 30 arc seconds (Geographic Coordinate System: WGS 1984) resulting from the suitability modelling of coffee, cashew and avocado. Per crop, four raster maps (.tif raster format) are available:The crops' overall current suitability (crop_current.tif), the current climate suitability (crop_climate.tif) based on climate parameters only, the current land and soil suitability (crop_soil.tif) based on land and soil parameters only and the suitability change by 2050 due to climate change according to RCP4.5.For the former three maps (crop_current.tif, crop_climate.tif, crop_soil.tif), each raster cell contains a value between 1 to 4 which represent decreasing crop suitability (1: S1 very suitable; 2: S2 moderately suitable; 3: S3 marginally suitable; 4: N unsuitable). For the latter maps (crop_change.tif), each raster cell contains a value between -3 and +3, which represent the change in suitability class (e.g. -1 is a decrease in suitability by 1 suitability class).
