Leucaena interspecific transcriptome study

Whole seedling Illumina truseq transcriptomes were sequenced for 23 of 24 species of the legume genus Leucaena. All seedlings were grown under same growth chamber conditions until they had produced two true leaves. These transcritpomes are being used to investigate interspecific variation in gene expression for phylogenetics, to look at sequence divergence following speciation, and a variety of other topics.
