Attempts to colonise the gut of Galleria mellonella with infant gut bacteria through feeding infant faecal slurry

This study aimed to assess the viability of the greater wax moth, Galleria mellonella as a host for the infant gut microbiome. This involved clearing the Galleria gut of its native microbiome through antibiotic treatment, and then colonisation using infant faecal slurry.
