The secondary land use types include: paddy fields, dry lands, closed forest land, shrub land, sparse forest land, other forest land, high-coverage grassland, medium-coverage grassland, low-coverage grassland, rivers and canals, lakes, reservoirs and ponds, permanent glacier and snow areas, tidal flats, beach lands, urban land, rural residential areas, other construction land, sandy land, gobi, saline-alkali land, swamp land, bare land, bare rock and gravel land, and others. Specifically, cultivated land is further classified into paddy fields and dry lands based on landforms: mountainous, hilly, plain, and slopes with a gradient greater than 25 degrees. The scale of this dataset is 1:100,000.
