全光纤相位调制器的插入损耗是衡量其性能的关键数据,超低的插入损耗是全光纤调制器优于传统电光调制器的重要特征之一。为确保所制备的两种全光纤相位调制器的插入损耗达到项目指标要求,采用宽谱光源和光谱分析仪对插入损耗谱进行了测量。测试数据包括光源光谱、透射光谱和由前两者做差得到的插入损耗谱。
The insertion loss of all-fiber phase modulators serves as a critical metric for evaluating their performance. Ultra-low insertion loss is one of the important advantages that all-fiber modulators hold over conventional electro-optic modulators. To ensure that the insertion loss of the two fabricated all-fiber phase modulators meets the project's predefined performance requirements, the insertion loss spectrum was measured using a broadband light source and an optical spectrum analyzer. The acquired test dataset includes the source spectrum, transmitted spectrum, and the insertion loss spectrum derived by subtracting the first two spectra.
