海水抽水蓄能实证装置的研制目的是为了实证“海水抽水蓄能电站前瞻共性技术研究”的成果,因此其定位是针对海水抽水蓄能电站设计和运行中存在的共性技术问题,开展机理性、规律性的科学研究。海水抽水蓄能电站的共性技术可分为“海水”、“可变速机组”、“抽水蓄能电站过渡过程”三个方面,本数据为可变速机组发电工况启动过渡过程实证实验数据,可变速可逆式机组启动与定转速可逆式机组启动的主要差别在于:前者的空载转速不一定是额定转速,其转速将随水轮机水头、出力以及水泵扬程、输入功率而变;后者的空载转速为额定转速,存在低水头水轮机启动不稳定(即并网困难)的问题。研究如何利用可变速机组的优势,彻底解决水轮机启动不稳定的问题是值得深入探索的共性技术。采集时间为2020年9月26日至9月28日,2020年11月23日至11月26日,2021年2月28日至2021年3月1日。采集地点为武汉市江夏区土地堂武汉大学抽水蓄能试验大厅。

The development purpose of the Seawater Pumped Storage Demonstration Device is to validate the research outcomes of "Forward-looking Common Key Technologies Research for Seawater Pumped Storage Power Stations". Therefore, its positioning is to carry out mechanistic and regular scientific research targeting the common technical issues in the design and operation of seawater pumped storage power stations. The common key technologies for seawater pumped storage power stations can be categorized into three aspects: "seawater-related technologies", "variable-speed units", and "transient processes of pumped storage power stations". This dataset contains experimental data from demonstration tests on the startup transient process of variable-speed units under generating conditions. The main difference between the startup of variable-speed reversible units and fixed-speed reversible units lies in that: the no-load speed of the former is not necessarily the rated speed, and it will vary with the turbine head, active output, pump head and input power; while the no-load speed of the latter is the rated speed, and there is the problem of unstable turbine startup (i.e., difficulty in grid connection) under low head conditions. It is a common key technology worthy of in-depth exploration to study how to utilize the advantages of variable-speed units to completely solve the problem of turbine startup instability. The data was collected from September 26 to 28, 2020, November 23 to 26, 2020, and February 28 to March 1, 2021. The data collection site is the Pumped Storage Test Hall of Wuhan University, Tuditang, Jiangxia District, Wuhan City.
