资源简介:

Historic bale seal from Fort Michilimackinac, Michigan, (20EM52, MS2-323), a part of the Michigan State University Museum's Archaeology Teaching Collection. Bale seals, often made of lead, were used historically during the colonial period to mark various shipped cargo after inspection or the payment of taxes. Unique bale seals acted like the merchandize tags of today, indicating information such as who was doing the shipping, that the goods being shipped were of appropriate quality, and that they had been shipped through the proper legal regulations. Dimensions: approximately 3.9cm L x 2.6cm W x 0.4cm T, weight= 16.9g This 3D model was created by Jeff Painter using an Artec Space Spider and Artec Studio 14 Professional, in partnership with the MSU Digital Heritage Imaging and Innovation (DHI) Lab.
