Source data for Vegetation greening drives long-term dust mitigation in Eastern Asia

This dataset supports the study <i>“Vegetation greening drives long-term dust mitigation in Eastern Asia.”</i><br>It includes all source data for the main figures, outputs from the dust emission model (DuEM v1), MERRA-2 dust optical depth data, and observation-based dust storm records. The dataset also provides shapefiles defining the Eastern Asian dust source and downwind regions. DuEM outputs cover both historical simulations (1982–2023) and future CMIP6 scenarios (SSP1-2.6, SSP2-4.5, SSP5-8.5). All data are provided in standard formats (CSV, XLSX, GeoTIFF, SHP, AI), along with essential processing codes to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and reuse.
