Milky Way Bone Masks

Masks for the Milky Way Bone filaments used in Zucker, Battersby, & Goodman 2018 (submitted). Original characterization of the Milky Way Bones can be found in Zucker, Battersby, & Goodman 2015. The masks entitled \"Fil_mask.fits\" are the same masks shown in the green contours in section 6.3.4 in the Appendix, derived via a column density threshold. The masks entitled \"Fil_IRDC_submask.fits\" are specific subregions of the dust emission based masks, corresponding to the most prominent extinction feature in the filament.本数据集包含用于Zucker、Battersby与Goodman 2018年（已投稿）研究中的银河系骨丝（Milky Way Bone filaments）掩膜。银河系骨丝结构的原始特征刻画可参见Zucker、Battersby与Goodman 2015年的相关研究。名为“Fil_mask.fits”的掩膜与附录6.3.4节中的绿色等高线所示掩膜完全一致，通过柱密度阈值法推导得到。名为“Fil_IRDC_submask.fits”的掩膜为基于尘埃发射的掩膜的特定子区域，对应该骨丝中最显著的消光特征。
