Summary of key characteristics for each transect sampled in Long Point and Big Creek National Wildlife Areas in 2022 and 2023. The table includes site codes, location, vegetation type, and treatment status by year (TypeYr code). For each transect, I report plant species richness (number of taxa), average water depth (cm), and two forage quality indices: the Vegetation Forage Quality Index (vFQI) and the Weighted Mean Waterfowl Coefficient (WMWCs). Canopy height (cm) reflects the mean height of emergent and floating vegetation. Sediment core-related variables, such as Seed mass (g), Edible fraction mass (g), and Inedible fraction mass (g), represent the average dry mass of seeds and content extracted from three sediment cores collected at the beginning (0 m), middle (25 m), and end (50 m) of each transect. I only collected sediment core data and canopy height measurements in 2023.<br><br>All details are presented in Chapter 3 and Appendix 15 in Andrii Kramarenko's MSc thesis document.
