Summer surface mass balance of Qaanaaq ice cap, Greenland in 2016

Aluminium poles were installed in the ice on Qaanaaq ice cap to measure surface mass balance. Length from top of the poles to ice surface was measured. Measured length change of the poles converted in meters water equivalent.为开展冰面质量平衡观测，研究人员在卡纳克冰盖（Qaanaaq Ice Cap）的冰层内布设了铝制标杆。研究人员测定了标杆顶端至冰面的距离，并将实测得到的标杆长度变化换算为米水当量（meters water equivalent）。
