Diversity of Ophiocordyceps sinensis mycoviruses

In order to reveal the mycoviruses diversity of O. sinensis, double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) extraction and metatranscriptomic sequencing, as well as viral screening of publicly available transcriptome data of O. sinensis in Sequence Read Archive (SRA), were used to study the viruses of the six O. sinensis strains collected from Chinese cordyceps production areas and 13 representative samples in the SRA database.
