Raw sequence reads of diploid A-Genome wheat species. A-Genome Diploid Relatives of Wheat

This study investigated the genetic and genomic characterization of A-genome diploid relatives of wheat collection preserved in the Wheat Genetics Resource Center (WGRC) at Kansas State University. The genotyping information of the tested population was derived using genotyping-by-sequencing. The A-genome diploid wheat includes two species Triticum monococcum and T. urartu, where the later has been considered as one of the progenitors of modern-day bread wheat and both species comprise a valuable source of genetic diversity for the future of wheat improvement.
