ARIA-SG Damage Proxy Maps and Interferograms: Philippines Taal Volcano Eruption, 15 Jan 2020

These preliminary Damage Proxy Maps (DPM) and Interferograms shows areas covering Taal Volcano, Philippines, which have experienced surface change potentially due to ash fall or damage due to lava flows and fissure cracks after the onset of the event on 12 Jan 2020. These maps were derived from synthetic aperture radar data acquired by the Copernicus Sentinel-1 satellites operated by the European Space Agency (ESA). Analysed by the ARIA-SG team at the Earth Observatory of Singapore (EOS) in collaboration with NASA-JPL and Caltech.
