ABC News/Washington Post Poll, September 1987

This data collection is part of a continuing series of
monthly surveys that evaluate the Reagan presidency and solicit
opinions on a variety of political and social issues. Topics covered
include an evaluation of the United States Supreme Court and the
nomination of Robert Bork, 1988 presidential candidates and
characteristics that would influence the vote of the respondent, the
incidents involving Senator Joe Biden, and the candidacy of Jesse
Jackson. Demographic characteristics of respondents also were
recorded.
