Global Energy Monitor (GEM) is an open and reliable industrial database focused on transparent data, maps and analyses related to energy and industrial infrastructure. The database tracks over 182,000 energy facilities, and provides interactive maps and data dashboards covering a wide range of topics including coal, oil and natural gas, renewable energy, heavy industry, energy transition, as well as finance and corporate sectors. Since 2008, GEM has supported the global energy transition by providing data and analyses.
