The fate of the oceanic slab during subducting to the cratonic lithosphere: Implications for the subduction of the Paleo-Pacific plate beneath East Asia

The source code for the numerical simulations is in the "src" directory. The four sample input files can be used to reproduce the permanent stagnation mode (slab2D_01.input), the temporal stagnation mode (sub2D_05.input), the penetration mode (sub2D_34.input) and the flat-subduction mode (sub2D_35.input), respectively. The "data" directory contains the trench velocity and dip angle files that can be used to plot Figure 5 and Figure 6 using the "plot_sub_trench_dip.sh" script. The regime diagrams in Figure 4 and Figure 7 are plotted using "plot_sub_regime.sh" script.
