This series consists of Minute Books of the various bodies responsible for arbitration and determination of awards for various trade and industry groups. The bodies responsible have generally been constituted as Wages Boards and, since 1981 as Conciliation and Arbitration Boards.The volumes contain the proceedings of each meeting of each Board. Precedents may also appear in the transcripts. A separate Minute Book exists for each different Board. Earlier volumes contain hand written reports of the proceedings, however as the number of Boards increased the Clerks began using type written transcripts and subsequently binding them into volumes.
