ADOT 2024 National Highway System (NHS)

This dataset represents the roadway sections that comprise the Arizona portion of the National Highway System (NHS), as reported in the 2024 Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS) federal report. The NHS is designated by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and consists of roadways important to the nation’s economy, defense, and mobility and include interstates, Strategic Highway Network (STRAHNET) routes and connectors, and other roads that connect major multimodal transportation hubs, such as airports, ports of entry, railroad stations, and other major transportation and business features.
