Industrial pollutant releases to water in Europe (2010-2023)

This indicator tracks trends of industrial emissions of selected water pollutants. The indicator includes releases of certain heavy metals (cadmium, nickel, mercury and lead, presented as the sum of the releases of the four), nutrients (nitrogen and phosphorus) and a global parameter to indicate the load of organic matter (total organic carbon). In addition the indicator show the evolution of the Gross Value Added (GVA) from Industry. Dimensions available in the time-series data: 1.
