Analysis results of seawater samples from the Saronic Gulf

This dataset presents quantitative concentration data from the analysis of seawater samples collected at selected locations in the Saronic Gulf. The analyses were conducted by the Laboratory of Analytical Chemistry, Department of Chemistry, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA/TraMS), on behalf of the EC-funded ENVIROMED project. The data document the occurrence of individual pharmaceutical compounds in the marine environment and support the assessment of potential environmental release associated with wastewater treatment plant discharges. The sample matrix is seawater.
