A high-resolution molecular epidemiological dataset of multidrug-resistant organisms based on long-read metagenomics

This dataset represents a comprehensive, multi-modal record of Multi-Drug Resistant Organism (MDRO) dynamics collected prospectively over a 300-day period within a large tertiary care hospital. It provides an unprecedented, high-resolution view of pathogen transmission by integrating three critical data streams: (1) longitudinal clinical and patient location data from Electronic Health Records (EHR), (2) deep genomic data from whole-genome sequencing of all recovered isolates, and (3) high-order interaction data capturing multi-person events like clinical rounds.The dataset was specifically curated to support the development and validation of next-generation computational models for infectious disease surveillance, transmission path inference, and outbreak analysis.
