资源简介:

RK, who was paralyzed in right motor activities due to embolism in the left hemisphere of the brain after orthopedic surgery, underwent stroke surgery at Selcuk University Faculty of Medicine Hospital, Department of Neurology. His physician stated that while undergoing stroke surgery, the patient had a serious speech problem - in addition to the loss of sensation on the right side of the body - and could only make "bebbebbeb"-like sounds. Immediately after the stroke surgery, it was observed that the patient had a speech disorder in his mother tongue, Turkish, due to the acute effects of stroke, with the improvement of his motor activities, and that he could speak in Danish, his second language. In order to evaluate the cognitive functions and language skills of the patient named RK, bilingual aphasia test (BAT), Rey figure copying and instant recall task, Clock Drawing Test (CDR), Standardized Mini Mental Test (SMMT), Trace Making Test (TMT), Augmented Cue Recall (ACR) Test were applied, respectively. The applications lasted a total of ~1.5-2 hours in 2 sessions. The aforementioned tests and questionnaires wiere applied 1 month after the operation date of the patient.
