Porphyromonas gingivalis affect gene expression in skeletal muscle, tibialis anterior muscle.

To further development of our gene expression we have employed microarray expression to identify genes. The mice were randomly divided into a control group and a group receiving oral injection of sonicated P. gingivalis twice a week for 6 weeks. Skeletal muscle in mice was extracted. Porphyromonas gingivalis induced gene expression in mice skeletal muscle was measured after oral administration.
