Gene Expression Changes in the Spinal Cords of Lewis Rats with Myelin Basic Protein-Induced Experimental Autoimmune Encephalomyelitis (EAE)

In these data sets we include the exon and gene expression data obtained from total RNA preparations from the spinal cords of female Lewis rats sacrificed at the clinical peak of MBP induced EAE and age matched , untreated, healthy controls. This data was used to obtain 2265 mapped IDS wich identified 1190 known genes which were differentially expressed in the spinal cord in EAE compared to healthy animals.本数据集涵盖了从雌性Lewis大鼠脊髓提取的总RNA制备物中获取的外显子（exon）与基因表达数据（gene expression data），这些大鼠在髓鞘碱性蛋白（myelin basic protein, MBP）诱导的实验性自身免疫性脑脊髓炎（Experimental Autoimmune Encephalomyelitis, EAE）临床发病高峰期被处死，同时设置了年龄匹配的未处理健康对照组。本研究利用该数据得到2265个映射后的IDS，共鉴定出1190个已知基因，这些基因在EAE模型大鼠的脊髓组织中与健康对照组相比存在差异表达。
