Amplicon sequencing (16SV4-V5andITS1) of calcareous soil microcosms

This BioProject contains bacterial16S rRNA(V4-V5)and fungal ITS1amplicon sequences from calcareous soil microcosms established with sterilized recipient soils inoculated with soil suspensions from contrasting calcareous soil types(donor-recipient combinations),including sterile water controls. Microcosms were incubated under controlled laboratory conditions,followed by DNA extraction,barcoded PCR amplification,and Illumina paired-end sequencing.Raw paired-end FASTQ files are provided for downstream analyses of bacterial and fungal community composition across dry and wet seasons.
